USN AAMES 1862 CUTLASS
U. S. Navy Aames 1862 cutlass. Great decorator item! The knuckle guard is not present. Looks like this sword has seen a lot of action. If only it could talk. The blade shows its age but that does not detract from its overall appearance.

CEREMONIAL SWORDS
Two ceremonial swords in the Samurai style that we purchased from a retired U. S. Navy Captain's Family. Includes display stand. Blades are sharp and in A-1 condition, as are the scabbards. One sword is 46" long, the other 35.5" long. The tand measures 11.75" h x 16.5" l x 6.5" deep. Sold only as a pair at a very low price.

USN PRACTICE SWORDS circa 1860
U. S. Navy Practice Swords from 1860. The 36" long blades are wood, which is springy like hickory. The hand guards have the nicks and dents you might expect from something of this vintage, probably caused by sailors practicing their sword fighting techniques against each other. Sold only as a pair.

BRITISH NAVY BOARDING CUTLASS 1850
The British Royal Navy used this style cutlass with the iron bowl guard starting in 1845 and continuing through WW I. The blade has a nice dark patina. Length is 33.5".

FRENCH MILITARY SWORD circa 1840's
It looks like this sword has seen a lot of action. Brass grip, stamped on blade is the #5, hard to read Made by "Talabot", with the year not legible. One side of the blade is good, the other side shows rust. The rusty side can be cleaned or concealed by putting its face to the wall. The blade point has been reshaped and the blade has some nicks. Length is 24 3/8".
