MASTER & OFFICER DIVER'S PLAQUE

A polished and lacquered brass plaque of the insignia of a Navy Master Diver and Diving Officer. The Master Diver designation is quite a feat to earn. After several years of experience and upon being invited to participate, a Chief Petty officer, Senior Chieff Petty Officer, or Master Chief Petty officer (E7, E8, E9) can undergo evaluation to become a Master Diver. Upon selection by the board of peers and successful completion of all areas of diving expertise, he is then awarded the designation of Master Diver. In the Navy awards and decorations manual, the Master diver pin is silver and the officer pin Gold. Our brass plaque represents both.
