VINTAGE RARE MINIATURE STATIONARY STEAM ENGINEOld Rare Miniature Stationary Steam Engine. 13" Long x Wide 6" High. It looks to at least 1" to 1 1/8" Bore, 2 5/8" Stroke. I have run it on compressed air: it takes off running strong. The cylinder O. D. is 1.575" in center, 2.115" on end caps, 3.575" Long. Flywheel is 4.257" O. D. X .583" Thick. Base is wood; deck plate is steel with pin stripes, with brass spindles for risers between base and deck. Weight 11 Lbs. It looks like a scale of a stationary plant engine (Industrial). I cannot find any markings or brand names; it could be machinist built. It is a nice job either way. Buyer pays Shipping. Weight 11-14 Lbs. after packing. |

MINIATURE MARINE STEAM ENGINEOld Rare Miniature Car Ferry Steam Engine. 10" Long 5 1/2" Wide 7" High. It looks to at least 7/8" Bore, 3/4" Stroke. 2 Cylinders. Cylinder block is 1.200" O. D. in piston area 1.390" at top, and 3.830" wide, including the slide valves. Flywheel is 1.767" O. D. X .850" thick, and it is mounted on steel plate fixed to a brass tapered oil pan mount to help align to the propeller shaft of vessel. Engine is 8" Long x 4 Wide, and including valves and pipes 6" High. Weight 5 Lbs. It was on a retired car carrying ferry in San Diego, CA., now a museum. It has a 3 Cylinder of this design, it is 3 stories high. I am 6 Ft. tall and can walk thru the engine on a catwalk over the crankshaft, the cylinders are overhead, they run it on compressed air so visitors can see it operate. Very Impressive. It is on the waterfront go see it if you go to the S.D. area; you will be glad you visited the museum! |

X .730 wide., Bore is 3/4", Stroke 3/4" Two Cylinder. Overall length is 7". width is 5 1/2" Height is 2.840. Shuttle Valve is operated by beveled gear train from crankshaft. The engine looks like stainless steel but is magnetic. It is a pancake style for low profile mounting like for a boat or car. Made of high quality workmanship, it looks like it had a real function, not a model. In all the years I have collected I have never seen another engine like this one. It is really neat and nifty. MASTER & OFFICER DIVER'S PLAQUEA polished and lacquered brass plaque of the insignia of a Navy Master Diver and Diving Officer. The Master Diver designation is quite a feat to earn. After several years of experience and upon being invited to participate, a Chief Petty officer, Senior Chieff Petty Officer, or Master Chief Petty officer (E7, E8, E9) can undergo evaluation to become a Master Diver. Upon selection by the board of peers and successful completion of all areas of diving expertise, he is then awarded the designation of Master Diver. In the Navy awards and decorations manual, the Master diver pin is silver and the officer pin Gold. Our brass plaque represents both. Depicts a hard hat deep sea diving helmet flanked by two sea horses, with tridents sprouting at port and starboard from the top of the bonnet. Measures 6" in diameter and weighs 2.3 lbs. VINTAGE GAUGES w/ BLACK FACE WW IIHandsome World War II gauges salvaged from a U. S. Navy vessel. The markings on the black face differ according to which gauge is available at time of order. Most will say something like "Measures 0 to 2000 hydraulic pressure." On the bottom of the face is the maker's name: "U. S. Gauge Co. N.Y." Overall diameter is 6". U. S. NAVY GUNPOWDER CANKeep your powder dry! Well worn and dented U. S. Navy copper and brass gunpowder can of the World War II era. Measures an incredible 18" tall x 10" x 10" and weighs 21 lbs. The bottom is a thick gauge copper, the top all heavy brass with a hinged brass port hole opening with three dogs (wing nuts) to "dog it down" tight to seal out moisture. Very unusual and highly collectible as well as decorative.
