BRONZE "LANTAKA" CANNON300 year old bronze "Lantaka" cannon, used undoubtedly for defense of fortifications and/or on board ship with a swivel yoke mounting. Notice the crest in front of the touch hole. Bore is 1.75". In the rear is a provision for inserting an aiming rod. The gun is resting on a 3 wheel dolley on each end for easier movement. Widest part of the barrel is 6.5" in diameter. Weight unknown, but heavy. Great collectors item. |
